Gortercomplex
From research laboratory to apartment complex
Information
A former research laboratory, the Gorter Building is a 1940s monument located on the edge of the Leiden Bio Science Park (along the Wassenaarseweg). Following renovation of the laboratories, the existing monumental building is transformed into apartments. On the adjoining plot of land, two new apartment blocks were built, each 40 metres high. Together, the three buildings form the Gorter Complex, made ready for use in the spring of 2020.
