A new bicycle storage in the remnants of former Gorlaeus high-rise lab
The covered bicycle shed with space for almost 3000 bicycles and a green roof with relaxing seats will be built on the lower layers of the remaining steel construction of the demolished tower.

Information
From the remains, a new, green, covered bicycle shed will be constructed for almost 3000 bicycles. On the ground floor the parking spaces will be built and on the first floor an attractive roof garden will arise with a diversity of plants. Part of the old steel construction will serve here as an overgrown pergola. In the roof garden there will be places where you can retreat into the greenery.
The storage will be ready for use with the opening of phase 2A of the Gorlaeus Building in september 2024. The second floor of the storage will be ready at the end of the year.
